We have known for nearly two decades that there were tracks recorded by the Four Seasons from the 1960s to the 1990s unreleased and largely unheard and yet Bob Gaudio and Frankie Valli did not want these to be known or heard for their own reasons. During the last two and a half decades working first with the late Stefan Wriedt[who taught me Sound Engineering software skills up to his passing in 2015] and then just learning through You Tube videos and trial and error I became a half decent Sound Engineer and managed to salvage and create a Digital Library of tracks that needed to be preserved and to let the world know through small e-mail and more recently Facebook what we found and what needed to be heard and shared.
This new blog became necessary because the Typepad free blog service was de-commissioned and all the past blog posts regarding the need to review the Four Seasons MASTERS[either on tape or stored digitally since the advent of Pro Tools for the huge CD re-issue market of the late 80s through to the 2000's.Today I have AI Tools to enable me to do some of the work that the FSP have not commissioned. The lack of investment in their 'legacy' is IMHO a very sad reflection on the respect the fan base has shown over the decades, and this blog is partly a tribute to the 'collectors' who have passed away....but have informed my work and research
With all past blogs from 2011 salvaged via the WayBackMachine and me still being 'compos-mentis', I have the opportunity here to review this research and other lesser know recordings preserved digitally.
BUT all of the efforts over the last 10 years has produced major achievements in the Snapper Music 'Anthology' Box Set and readers of future blogs by me will be able to view, hear and understand why this was a bit of a 'con' by Snapper Music and The Four Seasons Partnership.
Now that this blog is set up along with the new Facebook page you will be informed and can discuss posts and the data I am able to share. My opinions are mine alone and based on my experiences of involvement in my research with many of you out there and the late Bob Fisher who sadly passed away during our 2018 to 2022 Research.
